Instead of taking the bottom pin out can’t you just set it down and pull the rod out with the pin still in?

I pulled lift rams on a 3756g deere. 3 out of4 pins just slid out.. apprentice couldn't belive it it's all down to lining shit up nicely

I love cylinders we had one that always leaked did seals blew apart as soon as I put pressure did again turns out the piston was curved 😂 had a saudi rebuild it
