idk about other Asian country but in Vietnam from the 1990 to 2000,we get to watch journey to the West every summer on national tv, and it was the best part of my childhood.

I m.from Singapore and I absolutely love this 1986 version. was shown here in 198x and this is by far the best version of u r into the actual story of journey to the west. the acting by sun wukong, babies and even some of the gods, simply top notch!👍

I've watched all the other movies of wukong including journey to the west but I've never watched this 1986 movie/versions. they seem to re-tell but make diff versions everytime
