@emmadoo0: would you give the discount if you were an @airbnb host?? #airbnb #airbnbhost #cleanmyairbnb #airbnbsuperhost #ilm #vrbo #airbnbcleaning #shorttermrental #airbnbcleaner #airbnbtips #airbnbhosttips #airbnbadvice #vrbohost #airbnbbusiness
If stores ask for military ID, you could too. Makes it easier on you or any airbnb hosts.

I disagree, sometimes we ask to get in early because we landed early, & no discounts.

My hubbys military, I’m pretty sure it’s a big no no to send photos of your ID but I could be wrong! We never ask for a discount but would be more inclined to rent from someone who advertised one!

I don’t think asking for a military discount would make them a bad guest. A lot of places offer military discounts and you wouldn’t know if you didn’t ask. I agree with asking for a military ID

I think I’m a good guest. Sometimes I get to the destination early and have no where to go so I ask to check in early

Yes, with proof! I feel like if it was advertised you’d get more bookings, and honestly I’d want to book with you just knowing you support our vets! They’ve sacraficed so much for us, why not safrafic

Interesting. I always ask if I do long stays. My motto is you don’t know unless you ask. I have a 5⭐️guest rating and mention that when I ask for things like this + it’s usually successful. Also my +

When a company offers a veteran discount, I proactively show my ID. You shouldn’t have to be asked for it

If your willing to provide a 10% for return bookers it really won’t hurt to do the same for veterans (ID required though)

If they give you proof, then I would!!! I mean they have to show proof at any store or restaurant, so if they truly are a Veteran it won't be a problem!!

Where is the line? There is a lot of people that would be worthy…but as a business owner how do you pick. I am in a profession that routinely is offered a discount…but I would never ask for one…

No. I wouldn’t. I never offered any discounts(whenever I did, it backfired). My house is priced lower than the area rentals. Love, the spouse of a Vet

My dad never asks unless it’s something corporate and always has his ID on him with proof. Never would’ve thought about it for Bnb unless it was through the website itself
