Totally agree. I ordered the made by mitchel l foundation on a live and was recommended a shade that was so damn light on me but was one number different to my truth tint

As a MUA: cool being olive does make sense. It’s bit complicated to explain but look at a colour wheel or colour theory xx Agree with everything else though!

I think is because undertone, n5 is more pink n6 is more neutral, I think is great she considers so many options for people but I get what you saying it might be confusing for new consumers

This is why I don’t buy online anymore. If the brand isn’t in the shop I’m going to then it isn’t getting bought. Shade ranges online are too much for my already busy brain 🤣😭

so niche but the body shop does shades by fair, light, medium etc and each shade bracket has a warm, cool and neutral it’s so handy and makes sense

The haus labs colours don't make sense from an artist point of view either. Pink has a blue undertone aka cool and golden has a yellow undertone aka warm. It's so simple
