It goes back to the hills of Pennsylvania back around the late 1800s early or early 1900s there was an old witch woman they called Granny Black teeth. She lived back in a holler there In an old house. This old woman said that land was hers to do with as she saw fit…and cursed it! Not one critter wouldn’t go near it….except crows that land was littered with crows! The trees and plants started dien. Folks said she conjured up all kinds of things…but even the old things wouldn’t dare leave that holler. Now, story goes. A man named Chester Brooks was traveling one day and when it got dark he got lost and accidentally wandered into her holler and made camp. He ate some of his rations and thought the place just didn’t feel right. After he ate a bite he figured he’d try and find his way outta there because it just radiated evil. He stood up and gathered his stuff and Granny Black Teeth leaned out from behind a tree and asked….whatchee doin on my land Chester Brooks? This just scared him half to death. One thing was the fact she knew his name….the other was how she looked! She had a sort of old lace like material draped over her head of old white stringy hair that stuck out underneath it everywhere. An old night gown that was tattered and a raggedy old blanket draped over her shoulders….but what got him the most….her skin looked like dry cracked clay. And what seemed like black goo around her teeth….and dark hollow eyes. He screamed and grabbed his bible from his bag and closed his eyes and began praying!! Then…boom…he fell asleep! When he came too ..it was early morning and he was just outside of the nearest town. He never knew…how he got there. He told a few people in town and they said it was Granny Black Teeth.
