I would prefer a couple of bottles of water over the pitcher. I would worry the pitcher and water weren’t clean plus bottled is more convenient to carry. Just 2 bottles are plenty.

Def stock it up with cold water bottles! You can get a bunch for cheap and they can be easily taken on trips and out of the house it’s a good option
