fair but america had backing of the dutch french and spanish did they not and also include we were in a finacial problem and we didnt exactly need the colonies in america as much as others

Britain was fighting another war in Europe at the time the 13 colonies weren't seen as important enough. also they had the French, Spanish and Dutch fighting for them
