I scraped up as much money as I could, and got her a ring. She always loved it, and was so thankful, but I sore that one day I would upgrade it when I graduated college and got a good job. I always had high hopes and would say that at our 5 year anniversary, I would upgrade her ring. Well 5 years came and went and we still weren’t in a place where I could upgrade it. She always insisted that she was happy with any ring, and that she was just happy to have me. ❤️ Now, at 10 years into our relationship together, I finally am in a place where I can upgrade her ring. Any time she had talked about rings, I would always remember and take notes. So I had a good idea of what type of ring she loved. I reached out to @Ring Concierge and they worked with me to build the ring of her dreams. They helped me so much, because I only knew what I had overheard from Kay. After we figured out the ring, I was going to have it sent to me to surprise Kay at the location that she picked for her push present, but when she picked NYC, I decided that I would just take her to their showroom to surprise her! I told her that we were going to an observatory, and lead her to their building. Then I surprised her. Her reaction was so beautiful, and she finally got the ring that she deserves. She loves it so much and has talked about it nonstop since she got it. Since then, she has held on to a shirt that she bought for the trip. She kept it for 17 years and finally this year, she was given the chance to use it! Unfortunately, it didn’t fit anymore, but that didn’t stop Kay from finally being able to go to the parade! She had such a fun time watching the parade, and since we were near Central Park, we decided to go finish the day by walking around and eating a NYC hotdog.
