This is obviously really sad and awful for the small business, but equally it’s a sign that American Banking still needs to catch up to modern standards. In Europe, cheques are less than 1% of retail.

I work at a sign company and we get scam emails all the time that look like legit orders except they always order way more than what we usually get. It’s typically obvious that it’s this type of scam though….
