Question is tho I have 3 torn ligaments and I have issues in my ankle now because of it so what should I do when it gets stiff/painful/send sharp pains down to my toes/and swells? I’ve or heat😭

I had done something to my neck and shoulder years ago(pinched nerve or similar), urgent care said to use heat. Heat made me so uncomfortable and sick I threw up several times. Ice helped immensely 1)
