My concern if the oil is that good, which is great; filtration is the immediate next concern. From my experience with older trucks oil was still good with Mercon but had to dump it early to change

yeah but if you changed the fluid more regularly, you could prevent those issues from happening... it's the same concept as an engine oil change, oil is oil is oil, it all has a maintenance interval
