You can also attach the end of the leash to the handle loop. You don’t need a o ring

A good quality carabiner can be used to make a regular leash into this type also! I had so many regular leashes without the O ring so I slapped a carabiner on the handle and they’re good to go 🤣 Plus I own probably 8-10 leashes per dog so replacing the entire collection seemed like a hassle lmao

i'd never use a 4ft leash by itself so not really necessary. just buy a 10ft leash with clasps at both ends and a few o-rings along the way, pro dog has a leash like that that I love
