I’m not a train user, but I heard the Metro is chockers in peak hours, so you may need to get on on the next one, which would eliminate the speed advantage?

plus metro will be 4 mins faster eventually once CBD station dwell times get reduced from 90 seconds to 30 seconds.

But yes metro is faster but it takes a minimum of another 5 minutes to get out of those massive Gadigal underground stops anyways !!!
