@arcaneandwild: I've lived in Canada all my life and yet I'm still astounded by the new wonders I find hours from home. You'd never know if it wasn't for the internet that just on the other side of Mount Robson Park the town of Jasper and area was devastated by a wildfire only a month ago. We also traveled to Miette hotsprings on the way out (recently opened) but all other pull outs and trails are still closed. Jasper residents get in free to the hotsprings. Which, BTW is still beautiful as ever! There's still lots to see out there, but please respect the efforts of Jasper while they rebuild 🙏 and pay attention to road alerts and directions from officers and road workers. I'm also pleased to report that I saw lots of wildlife while driving through Jasper!
