One thing I wish I would’ve realized when I started my fitness journey… GROWTH DOES NOT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE SUCH A SCARY THING!!! it’s actually a beautiful process once you allow yourself to fully take it 🫶🏽 things that helped me really take in this process..  1. Stop weighing myself and started getting dexa scans. Instead of measuring your weight this will measure your bone density. It also will show you your body, fat percentage, muscle, mass, etc.. 🫶🏽 2. Setting a goal for myself of where I want to grow. Whether it’s all around, glutes, quads, shoulders, and making sure that I am doing everything I can to progress in those areas.  3. Raising my calories slowllyyyy instead of jumping into a surplus! This may be a controversial statement, but I am not one who does well and a surplus of calories… I feel uncomfortable, I feel extremely full all the time and I do not like that feeling! I would rather slowly get calories… And stay at maintenance and have a slower process 🫶🏽  4. Instead of tracking your weight on the scale, track your weight in the gym… Obviously this is a different sort of mindset and a different sort of goal you have in mind! We are not reaching to be the smallest version of ourselves, but the strongest! Especially when our focus is growth! Put this away and start tracking your weight in the gym. Set your focus elsewhere 🫶🏽  here’s the reality… This is probably gonna go up. Your body may look differently than it did, but this can be done in a positive way! Positive body composition is the goal! Which means keeping nutrients in check, keeping your gym goals in check, and focusing on , your body recomposition rather than the scale! How much muscle are we gaining? How much body are are we losing? Or are we maintaining? Progress that Lift?
