I always pass this along: If your child is not mad at you at least once a week, you are not pushing them hard enough. It's good for them and builds character.

I like kids’ menus because many small children can only eat small portions! I don’t want to pay for a full-size meals when my children won’t eat even 1/2 because he or she is full.

I teach in a Swiss school abroad, that was one of the first things I noticed compared to the US. They want kids to struggle & try new things & not coddle them. It’s been a breath of fresh air.
