Would disconnecting the batteries possibly clear the code? Letting it sit for like ten minutes and reconnecting, might reset the system.

My daughter just went into the DMV in Carmichael California and got a two month moving permit for smog reasons. You just have to press for the two month moving permit and it costs 50 bucks.

Call the dealership for your car and see what they say about codes clearing? If not look at your car manual to see if you can unplug something? Idk if this works for new cars. Not saying it’s legal

Maybe take it to a shop? They usually have more detailed code readers than oriellys.

A month long moving permit and just drive like you stole it until you can get to your appointment you can walk in for moving permits at the front counter

What is so insane about this is that people have expired registration all over where I live in California. Sometimes 2 years! They do nothing around here.

Does Nevada not have a temporary registration? Here in Utah if you take it in to get it registered and it doesn’t pass, you can get a temporary registration while the work is done. Typically two weeks
