@prettypumper: Any other pumper see this before? For months this filter has been filling up like crazy with small black worms. I think the worms are normal but not in this large amount! At one point the homeowner was putting some bacteria down the toilet that he got from the hardware store but even months later with a couple septic pump outs this is continuing. Anyone know of a solution?
Older systems don’t have that filter and work fine. Throw it away!

Way too often. Had one yesterday solid side was right to the lid. I always tell people spring and fall wash the filter. I find most people don’t even know they have one. 🤷♂️

I clean mine twice a year and i also clean the air filter on my aerator at the same time. Also good to throw a little piece of a chlorine tablet in the pump chamber, cleans off the suction screen

They look like drain fly larvae. Treat the tank with a pesticide. It may take a couple of treatments.
