It’s our foods, some injections and pharmaceuticals company’s during pregnancy. Both my boys have traits of autism and it kills my heart. I’m lucky it’s not full blown

I think a lot of that has to do with it being more commonly diagnosed. I don’t think we have more autism I think we have more awareness of it

my son was diagnosed with severe autism when he was 2 now he is 5, talking, potty trained, and learning everyday - there is hope!!! ❤️❤️❤️

While I agree there is an increase, my mom (76) is most definitely autistic, and was not diagnosed! They used to only diagnose moderate to severe. Now high functioning autism is diagnosed.

I think autism is increasing because we are more aware of it on a scientific basis. not saying it was unknown back in the times that he mentions but it wasn't as known scientifically. today we are able to test and diagnose it more accurately. awareness is the biggest key here, I'm sure a lot of older folks have autism but was high functioning. I'm positive that back then people who had it were the "weird" kids or the one who eventually because rocket scientist or the ones who are extremely proficient in their jobs.

I have 4 kids. One has Autism. He didn't speak but he does now. He can use the restroom and dress independent. Years of therapy. Now he is 24, modeling and learning photography. My son is amazing
