chlamydia is a only passed on if it had gone into a cut or body fluids have exchanged... not from just a hug 💀

for clarification: humans cannot catch chlamydia trachomatis from koalas (this is the sexual STI that we commonly get). humans MAY catch chlamydia pneumoniae from a koala BUT this strain won't show up on an STI test bc it's not an STI, it's respiratory bacteria that causes sneezing/coughing. this means that OP was in fact sexually cheated on 3 years prior because she had c. trachomitis since it came up on an STI test.
