Do not go all the way to the bottom then roll . Go like mid shaft roll release then roll more hair .

My teacher taught us to do it in one hand and use a comb at the scalp to protect any burns on the scalp when you twist fully up, me being a lefty it was so hard but I got used to it after a while

Back in elementary we went on a field trip to a tech school in cosmetology and they let us play with the dolls hair and I burned myself with the straightener.It was so embarrassing I started to cry.💀
