doing it for 40 years....picking the team is easy....making them play as a team is the challenge.....get to know the players and parents. trust yourself......

My sister is my club director and I said the same thing to her. Can you just pick my team and I’ll show up and coach them? Selecting the team is so. STRESSFUL!

It’s my first year coaching. Try outs are next week. Grade 7/8 jr team and I’m most nervous for the possibility of having to cut people 😭

I felt this way about tryouts for my 7th grade team…I had 26 girls interested and had to cut more than half. It was awful

Same! Honestly I’m not sure we’ll even have enough for a team this year.🥺🥺 But it’s very stressful. In my dream world I could just retain the whole team and just move up with them each year.
