if you have sensitive books you can get glue that doesn't yellow or isn't acidic to preserve it for the future but it works with other none gloss paper

Just use clear tape. Wipe the page clean… dust free room and clean hands.

A little trick for tearing papers: crease with the bone folder, but then use the bone folder like a letter opener to tear the paper. Gets a clean tear

I use cheesecloth to wipe off excess glue before closing the book. Can’t remember if I learned that from online Demco tutorials or elsewhere, but it helps me avoid glue residue in this process.
