Our security system battery was actually up in our attic so you may have to search closets, garage, etc…it was a larger type battery almost like the ride on toy ones

So if you have an alarm system there is a battery back up hidden somewhere… utility closet… somewhere. That is probably what is beeping. You have to remove the battery and unhook system

If you have an old alarm system, there should be a security box for that device that is in a closet or a basement or something that has a battery backup that could be still plugged in and alerting‽

I had a wired smoke detector that had a backup battery. Took it down to paint and removed battery. Heard a peep several times. Finally located it to the smoke detector with a no battery. Pushed button

if it's an old alarm system like mine, it can still beep when you open the door.... it might have a panel somewhere in house that looks like a breaker box... check close to the wall mount

had a similar beep, turns out it was from the carbon monoxide detector. turns out they expire after 5 to 10 years and need to be replaced, replaced it and was in peace

I had a dishwasher that would beep when the cycle had been interrupted. It took me days to figure it out.

We had a problem with hard wired smoke detectors beeping. Had to call an electrician to fix it. It was wired wrong.
