One thing is that when they want me to do something they will start saying stuff like "Vaccum everywhere" or "clean this" or "you forgot to clean this" or "Just let me do it" and whenever I get mad

The problem is chores are used as a proxy to achieve ego enrichment / fulfillment for parents who get off on commanding another person / being able to inflict control

I did this growing up. It seemed that all interactions with my parents were at my expense so if I was home, I was in my room.
