those toothpastes usually work by color correcting. so even if they make ur teeth seem whiter they actually haven't like removed any plac. Just color theroy

The way color theory works, purple will never whiten anything yellow or yellow-adjacent. Purple compliments yellow which means it actually makes yellow look more vibrant. 🫠
