After nearly 20 years of enduring relentless back pain and managing life with Ankylosing Spondylitis, I decided to reclaim a part of myself that I have long despised. 🫶🏻 My back, a source of constant discomfort and struggle, has now become a canvas for something beautiful and deeply meaningful. 🥹 I always wanted a tattoo, but I knew it had to symbolize something profound. The flowers in my tattoo, skillfully inked by @tytattooguy at @hartfordcountytattoo , represent the birth flowers of my kids, husband, sister, parents and mother in law who passed away. 💐 These are the people who give me strength and support every single day as I navigate the challenges of living with 24/7 pain. 💜 Now, when I look at my back, I no longer see a source of suffering. Instead, I see a beautiful testament to the love and resilience that gets me through each day.
