I always thought the other mother turned the Coraline doll into the doll of her parents (like in the beginning when she changed the doll into Coraline) so there was only ever one doll

The doll being alive makes a lot of sense because how could the hand have known where to go at the end? It was moving like it could see where it was going so she was probably using the dolls eyes

when coraline gets into bed with the pillows as her parents and it's a birds eye view, there's a doll on top of the blankets. looks like the half mum half dad one

If you notice in the other world, wybie’s gloves don’t have the skeleton hands on them. I think Wybie’s grandmother sold the house because they put the bricks in the little door, thinking that would solve the problem. And I always wonder how the grandmother got away.. but not her twin sister. I think she made a deal with the witch or she just escaped. And she knew her sister was gone. Hence the bricks. Cause why would you lock your sister inside if you don’t already know what happened?

I’ve always considered the parents doll as a completely new one since it takes on a completely different head structure and the other mother just reuses the same one with the same structure over and over

The reason fake wybie can’t talk I feel like is because I don’t think coraline fully disliked him to begin with so the other mother didn’t have much to change about him
