@simon.doherty: Replying to @Haze der Here's how many people were arrested at Creamfields this year. It's a very low crime rate when you consider that there were 80,000 people there. Interestingly, the Cheshire Police conducted "pre-event site searches" which busted some people. #creamfields #creamfields2024
I saw soooo many security guards in the campsites jjst coming up to groups and being like “random search” is this like allowed??

Seeing a lot of posts/comments about needle spiking at reading and Leeds, not sure about cream: how big of a problem is this? Some people even arguing it’s not even real and doesn’t happen.

They are monitoring the sites for months before for people burying stuff in the ground with AirTags/trackers etc. On site Event security brings about 3/4 months before I was told. Not sure how true !

Pre event site searches means the police went round the site before the festival had started, dog indicated something under the ground and it was 15kg of 🐴 ❄️
