I will never understand why other provinces have "public" Catholic schools! In BC all public schools are nonsecular and religious schools are private schools.

Wasaga also only has one Catholic elementary school on the West end. Many families choose the public school close to them bc the Catholic one is 25 mins away.

I’ve always been told that if we get a high school here in Wasaga that it would cause CCI (Collingwood HS) to close for lack of students 🤷🏻♀️

My kids public elementary school in eastern Ontario is at more than 200% capacity and growing…the French and English catholic schools in the area received funding for more classrooms. 🤦🏼♀️

I went to a Catholic Highschool and left to transfer to a Public after grade 10, didn’t believe religion needed to be a course you get tested on.

😳 catholic school? those have been banned here in Quebec. we are the least religious people in all of Canada. the "great darkness" has taught us that nothing good comes from religion.
