i had cystic acne for 8 years and yes i tired salicylic acid and no it did not work. the only thing that worked was a benzoyl peroxide face wash. i have no cystic acne anymore

What really helped me with cystic acne is diet change and taking vitamins that have anti inflammatory properties. Barely have breakouts now

Soooooo if you have a bunch of bumps that are red but they come to a head they aren’t cystic?? Cystic are the ones that can’t be popped. Then why did my derm say use a BP wash and put us on clind?
