The amount of disbelief the last time I shared about these borders was ridiculous! So thought I’d share the actual products and costing of those products on this reel. Luckily, I took photos at the time. This was our lockdown project and thankfully I wasn’t in work full time so we were able to really crack on with it. It was definitely learn-as-you-go for both of us but at the time we didn’t have the money or get any tradesman in -so it was a diy job. We have fencing across just two sides of the garden and it’s a walled garden so we only needed to fence about 1.5m down, so that played a part in keeping costs down We had borders across 3 sides and I often get asked the depth. Each side changes as we wanted to keep some existing plants so we worked around them. But yes, all the wood and nails and concrete came in under £300 Paint was extra but 4 yrs on it’s still looking good! The only things we might update next year would be the tops of the borders as they’re looking a bit grubby and worn.
