The officer knew the dog was loose. He chose to get out of his vehicle. He could’ve done lots of things to stop that dog from being protective. Firing your weapon that close to children is not the way

Nah. That dog had a horrible owner. A well trained dog would never run at someone that way. Sorry but, I would’ve done the same. My safety is priority over ANY dog/ animal.
