I ate sooooo many carbs in Egypt, I was grateful I packed some protein bars for snacks. My tour didn’t go to any small towns. Got pretty tired of potatoes and pasta

as an Egyptian in Cairo I never considered the lack of vegan food because I don't know anyone vegan but is it that bad because from my experience I always see at least one vegan option on the menu

Egypt has a heavily plant based cuisine actually, you should be okay☺️the meat alternatives are kinda crazy expensive and a bit scarce unfortunately though
