My two boys love the mirrors so they can see me, my oldest (3 years) literally has a melt down and tries to get out if he can't see if his mirror has moved. It really helps as you can make eye contact

If the clip doesn’t work stick the rough side of Velcro on the buckle so he can’t undo it, it works and won’t affect the seat in a crash, or you could put the seat in the front with the airbag off x
