I boiled water to cook rice until my grandmother dumped out my pot and put the rice in the pot cold put some water in it and let it cook covered for 10-15 minutes that's it

I’m 47 & I can’t make white rice on the stove for nothing. I’ve heard of ppl draining the water off after cooked. I will say it looks pretty perfect.

I boil the water , put my rice in , remove the heat and let it sit covered. Once the water is absorbed fluff with a fork .
