We do have one but only for long journeys eg on a plane. We have always made it clear it’s just for king journeys. Our boys never ask for them at home and we have never had any issues with them

We almost got one for Beau around this time and ended up not doing it. He is almost 4 now and still doesn’t have one and I think if you have one screen time is likely to increase. Compared to those we

We have one for car journeys, it's good when they are overstimulated! There are shows like Puffin Rock that are low stimulation ♥️

My 2 year old had one for his birthday last months. It’s been so good for long journeys you can download stuff on Netflix so you can use it without WiFi and the CBeebies play time island games are..

One thing I’m sticking to is not getting my 19 month old a tablet but to be fair I also don’t plan on taking her on a plane for a good few years yet! I think for travel I’d deffo cave in and give the

My son is about the same age as yours and he has a tablet for us going out. It’s mainly for white noise if he gets overstimulated but it does help to have it as an option doesn’t get it every outing..

Nothing wrong with it! We grew up with the tv! If it helps on the plane and drives then brilliant!

We’re unsure for my soon to be 3yr old too. Feel like his behaviour is worse if he watches tv but the occasional time on a tablet wouldn’t do any harm I don’t think 🤔

we always have the tv on lol keeps my nearly 2 year old happy as she still plays with her toys even if the tv is on and half the time we put music on

I think for movies/shows when travelling etc is good but my biggest regret is letting them have You Tube so dont go down that road. They get obsessed.

I've been thinking of getting my 2yr old one but only in moderation. my son was so addicted to the ipad, I do not want to go down that route again.

Yeh defo do it. Makes life easier, my daughter plays with hers a bit but isn’t obsessed with it because we don’t make a big deal out of it. She uses it in the car etc 🥰

Screens have their place without a doubt, but set rules for him and yourself regarding usage.
But I'd avoide the Amazon fire tablet only because they don't use Google Play and that can be annoying.
