@urbancitygardener: Preparing my beds for tomato season! My Recipe for Success; 1. Remove all the aged crops and compost them. 2. Water the top soil to moisten the bed and apply some good handfuls of Blood and Bone. 3. Add some slow release pelletized fertiliser that kicks in later in the season. I use this organic one for Tomato, veg and herbs from @Scotts AU Performance Naturals. 4. Add some home made compost or buy a good quality one if you don’t have any available. 5. Add some well aged animal fertiliser such as cow, sheep or chicken manure. 6. Rake it evenly over the bed and top it off with another layer of compost to help keep the soil damp. Water it in well and let it settle in for a few days or weeks until your ready for the new season 🌱 #letsgrowtogether #mygarden #raisedbeds #nodiggarden
