SNACK PREP FOR KIDS ✨ I’ll put all the details below 💕 Strawberry Granola Bites: Add granola into muffin tin with liners - small pieces of granola work best for this. Add strawberry yogurt on top so that it completely covers the granola (plus a little more). Freeze for at least two hours. Store in the freezer and before eating, take out of freezer to thaw for a few so it’s not hard. Cereal Bars: Mix 1/2 cup honey with 1/2 cup peanut butter (or wow butter if you have an allergy - anything similar will be fine). Melt that together (30 seconds in microwave or on stovetop). Pour over 3.5 cups of any cereal and mix together. We usually just do that and add it to a pan with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least an hour before eating. Store in airtight container in fridge. This time I added yogurt on the bottom but made the same way. I think I’ll leave the yogurt off next time. Homemade Cheez-its: Mix 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese - shredded, 1 cup all purpose, ½ tsp salt (plus more for topping optional), ¼ cup unsalted butter (cubed) 2 tablespoons whole milk (cold). Mix all of those together. It’s best to use a food processor for this. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and make sure it’s very thin (about 1/8”). Cut into squares and poke a hole in the middle. Put on a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake at 325 for about 22-25 mins. You want these crispy so they have a nice crunch! Store in an airtight container. . Enjoy! . . . #easyrecipesforkids #EasyRecipes #foodforkids #snackprep #snackprepforkids #easysnackideas #snackideas #snackideasforkids
