@torinishino: The little girl recording me in the back 🥹 I had NO idea when this was filmed that she grabbed her phone to film me… usually I’m the one that grabs my phone when some incredibly talented and inspiring dancers go up to perform. I want to rewatch them and learn from them and get inspired by their own secret sauce and style! Every Tuesday night I’ve been working on my confidence in front of the camera and as a dancer. Never once did I ever think someone would see me go up and be like “I gotta grab my phone for this one” 🥹 Just shows how many ripple effects you can have…. All the incredible dancers that have come before me and inspired me. And to all the dancers, and shufflers that have been inspired by me and are now inspiring others. It’s so beautiful to see. I’ve always stated I’m not a professionally trained dancer — but dance has always been an outlet for me that I absolutely love. As my outlets and interests evolve (and even when I sometimes become apathetic towards dance in certain phases), I know it will always be a constant in my life. Movement and our bodies are a gift and dance is so much more than just dance. It can heal. It can bring happiness. It can be therapy. I’m so grateful for it. Okay done with my rant…. I LOVE YOU! Thank you for being here and being so supportive.
