You could get the on four snap in dentures. They put implants into your jaw bones and they just snap in. I’ve had them for years and love them. Lost teeth due to genetics myself in my mid 30’s.

the bone loss will continue over years till there is little to no ridge enough for the denture to fit on. look into implant secured dentures to last decades and preserve more bone.

How about implants? Would that be a more convenient option? I have a couple of molars gone due to age but haven’t pulled the trigger due to expense.

🥰 I'm 56 I've had my denture since I was 24 drunk driver busted my face up I haven't had any bone loss much but I also know they can bone graft fakes bone to your jaw and if it necessary

My bottom gums did shrink and they is almost nothing there. You should see my bottom permanent denture. It’s really, really small

Shrinking is usually only a problem when swimming in cold water. You should be fine

It’s the bone that goes away. You are right. Many years down the line it will be very difficult to keep them in. IF you can do implants it retains the bone.
