@chefjjskitchen: Zurbian Adani Ingredients: - 2 large onions - 1 head of garlic - 3 large tbsps yogurt - 4 large potatoes - 1 kg of chicken pieces - 1 tsp cardamom powder - 1 tsp cinnamon powder - 1 tsp turmeric - 1 tsp cloves powder ( optional ) - 1 tsp chili powder - 1 tsp cumin powder - Salt & pepper - 2 cups of - start by slicing the onions then fry them with the peeled garlic till they start to brown then salt them and let them cool completely. - blend the yogurt with the spices and half of the fried onions and garlic till you get a smooth paste. - fry the potatoes and chicken in a few spoons of the onion oil with the paste and stir them till all covered. Let them cook covered on low heat for 20 minutes. - once cooked. Place them in the oven on the broiler setting just to roast everything. 5-10 minutes. - Wash and soak the rice then boil it for 10 minutes till 90% cooked then strain it from the water. - layer the rice in the chicken pot on top of the juices and sprinkle the onions and garlic between each layer of the rice. - steam the rice on the lowest heat for 20-30 minutes. - drop the rice on a serving plate.
