I would have got a credit card number as security and charged it before starting the order. that way you'll get payed for what you invested

I’ve heard this story before, for another bakery a large order from Tesla and they cancel last minute, they should take a deposit to cover costs 👌

She would have been fully entitled to sue, had she not received monies from the order. A party who orders enters into a contract. If the order is then cancelled, then a breach of contract may apply🤔
