I’ve seen this before. From what I remember the homeowner was getting a new driveway and they used the truck to break up the old concrete so it was easier to remove. Made the whole job go faster.

The delivery ticket says "Not responsible for damage beyond curb." But it must be signed B4 the truck leaves the road and goes onto the property.

As a mixer driver I will say it’s on the contractor or property owner depending on who has ordered the concrete… the concrete company is only liable if the driver does something that was not specified

Who ever made the decision the truck could drive on it. If home owner suggested it they pay. If contract was lazy and suggested he pays. If concrete just backed in without asking they paying for it.

California they donot get in your driveway unless homeowner sign’s a waiver. They park in the street and you have to hire an additional pump service to get to the back yard.

Hard to believe the owner wouldn’t have been either aware of the probabilities of having a cement truck go over your driveway especially since the driveway was already cracked.

Honestly if it was my driveway and let’s say the contractor was at fault I would be like look it was kind of crap anyway how about I pay for the materials you cover the labor.
