Definately not worth it, Landlord has no protection from tenants . If you invest a dollar it takes 10 years to get it back . . .

Was a landlord in the nineties. Was hard to get good tenants back then. Was such a gong show. I think you can get better tenants now.I’m happy being out of the landlord world.

my partner and I live in Victoria,BC. The only real estate were able to afford without being house poor is a 1 bed, 1 bathroom condo. does it make sense to buy this? we feel stuck as it's very unlikely we will ever be able to afford anything more than that there.

But if now if you have a piece of property build a little lane way house 850 sq ft - 2 beds 2 bth - you can probably get an 8.5 or 10% cap rate on that money
