One thing about owning a small business that doesn’t get talked about enough is the ups and downs. Some months are incredibly busy, while others are much slower. And while I absolutely love what I do, those slower seasons can be stressful. When you’re a solo business owner, you feel every cancellation, every empty spot on your schedule, and every change in the season. Behind Livermore Skin Studio is just me. A mom of two, a wife, and an esthetician who has spent the last nine years doing something she truly loves. I’ve poured so much time, love, energy, and hard work into building this little business of mine. And through all the busy seasons and the quieter ones, one thing has remained constant: how grateful I am for the clients who continue to support me. There are days when I question myself during the slower seasons, but then a familiar face walks through my door, a client sends me a sweet message, or someone recommends my business, and I’m reminded why I keep going.
