I’ve had 4 of those trucks ranging from 2000-2006. I’ve never had rust like that. Change the fuel pump and cluster and it’s good for 300k

Unfortunatly, a new truck won’t last. I’m in the middle of putting a new engine in my 19 Silverado with 68k miles. It would be cheaper to fix that truck and he’d have a more reliable truck.
