As a mom, this is kind of an embarrassing question, but what do I do?If my daughter doesn't drag me to what you want , instead , she just bangs her head or hits herself in the head , I have video evidence as well just in case of doctors need see proof

Narrate everything you do . Point “ mommy is opening door”. Read books often. Dance & sing children songs. It takes time. IMPORTANT TO REWARD THEM

My son doesn’t speak and he’s just turned two, however I find it hard because I feel as though I’ve tried so many things and he seems to cognitively not be understanding anything I’m saying. Like there’s a cognitive disconnect

I’m not sure why my child won’t say any words yet. He was born with spina bifida and had brain surgery a couple months later with hydrocephalus I’m assuming that plays a part but he hasn’t said a single word and he’s a little over 2. I’ve maybe heard him say dada 2-3 times ever and it wasn’t on purpose

How do I help my nephew? He’s a couple months over 2 but only says “Da” not to mean “dada” either…everything is Da and I’m trying to figure out a gentle way to explain to his parents that it may be time to get some help? I don’t want them to feel judged. I love them and I love their boy with my whole soul! I just want to see him thrive 😔

Hi Mariah, my son is 24 months and speaks over 300 words now. He has a range of types of words and puts 3 or 4 together. Also comments on facts and tells us about an immediate past event. However, he will not say yes or nod yes. Doesn’t use possessive either. We are a bilingual home. I am not sure how to help him if you could share any tips that would be wonderful 🥰

My girl is 20 month now..and dont speech any word..but she understand lot of word.. When i ask she is pointing 101 word book..and she head three language at home..she respond her name all the time.

im trying to understand what my son wants he will open and close his hand as if he is waving but he's opening and closing the opposite way of waving if that makes sense. Can you tell me what that could mean?

So for me I’m kinda at the in between he can say 70-100 words and puts two words together now it’s just trying to get him to put a little bit more together and even though he does know the words gets mad and points instead
