you should be able to just pop off the old face and pop this one on. they are the same behind. so shouldn't need to redo the wire plate

nothing towards u me saying this, but it's just sad that a lot of youtubers and Content Creators know bout tech but can't install a simple thermostat. Positive negative ground. simple as 3 wires 🤷🏽♂️
