lol what, you can pump the gas and pay on the pump in Europe a lot of places, you can pay in cash or card on the pump in Europe different countries

umm yeah we had the honer system here,. at some gas stations. we did do "gas runs", go fill up and leave,you'd have to cover your license plate and be ready to take off, cause they watched.

We did do that in the United States. For many years. We didn't start pre-paying til the mid to late 80s depending on location

also if you are truly prepaying, i.e. paying in cash, you can just do ... math? they tell you how much a gallon of gas costs on the big sign, you can calculate based on that & the size of your tank
